I’ve had a few people asking about the recipe, so here goes:

Base:
500g minced beef (aka ground beef)
Teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch Sea Salt
Pinch Black Pepper
1 Egg
Handful of almond flour (aka ground almonds) if you have it
Thick slice of red onion diced

Mix all that in a large bowl and form into a ball. Chuck this on a greased tin and spread out nice and thin. This recipe fits a 12” pan although it will shrink when it cooks.

Cook base for 12-18 mins at around 190.

Drain fat and scrape off the fat and juices from the top.

Spread over some pizza sauce (or blended tomatoes with some basil). Throw on your toppings. I used mozzarella, red onion and red bell pepper with some coriander (aka cilantro) on top. Place back in the over for another 5-10 mins then transfer to the grill (or broiler for you US readers) to brown off.
